Toilet and shower repairs

It was one of the first aims I wanted to get as soon as I arrived at Children's Town and now, it is already fulfilled.

After making an study and talking to technicians, we decided to carry out a project to restore toilets and showers in our shcool. After 3 days of construction works, children could enjoy their first shower. Many children had never had a shower before.The oldrest ones didn't remember to have a shower since they arrived at Children's Town. The luckiest ones had had a shower before but not in the school.

The slovenliness, the lack of hygienic habits and lack of means made them not to use showers any more when they broke instead of repairing them. They continued using the traditional way (soap and a bucket).

It is indescribable children's faces when they were having the first shower. Now, the big problem is how to take them out of showers.
